Re: ***Official Sopranos Next To Last Episode Thread***
Is it also possible that Tony dies early in the episode and the rest is a back and forth look at how his home family is dealing and him going to the Hell house as T Soprano?

Am I the only one hoping for an off-the-wall Kevin Finnerty dream that has very little to do with anything finale? [/ QUOTE ] You are definitely not alone. I was hoping for a good 10 minute minimum dream sequence last night. But I don't think we're getting one. |

I'm also pretty sure that the Doors song playing at the 'Bing earlier was "When the Music's Over", not "The End" -- but I'll have to watch it again to be sure. [/ QUOTE ] I thought so too. |

Re: ***Official Sopranos Next To Last Episode Thread***
I thought this episode was fantastic, top 5 ever, but there is one thing that bothered me and that was the first scene of the episode. Silvio goes to kill this Gervasi fellow, but his method of choice is a garrote? Why not just shoot the guy when he turns around? It seemed like a very unnecessary risk to me. There is a much greater chance of something going wrong that way, as we saw with the struggle they had.
It seems like they just did it that way to make it more interesting(which it was). Also, when Silvio leaves, he just casually opens the door with his bare hand without giving a second thought to fingerprints. For someone who has obviously been arrested and has his prints on file that just seemed really careless. I'm not trying to be nitty and this sort of thing doesnt hinder my enjoyment of the show one bit, but for a show that is usually so accurate and detail-oriented, it just seems a little odd. |

- Melfi should have fired Kupferberg right there at the table for breaching patient-doctor confidentiality.
- Can't believe Syl wasn't better prepared, didn't have his hand on a piece leaving the Bing. - No way Paulie flips. For a dream conclusion? Tony gets hit in a circumstance which causes Meadow to flip, (she's there, see's it, etc.) She steps up, directing the retaliation taking out Phil and his crew, a new Soprano at the lead. Sure, it's never going to happen, but would be cool in a Michael / Godfather reminiscent kind of way. P.S. If the boyfriend's Dad is discovered to be implicated in any way of course she offs the boyfriend too. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Does anyone else regularly...put whipped cream directly into their mouth partially because of Tony Soprano? [/ QUOTE ] That doesn't sound gay at all. [/ QUOTE ] I'm guessing this means you don't do it. [/ QUOTE ] No, it just means that you're fat |

Re: ***Official Sopranos Next To Last Episode Thread***
my idea:
meadow gets killed in a botched car bombing attempt of tony...aj kills phil leotardo b/c of it. and tony rats out the arabs and they go in the witness protection. |

Re: ***Official Sopranos Next To Last Episode Thread***
things I really liked about this episode:
- the hit on Phil goes awry, but it's clear it was already too late to get him and Tony knows that. - Carm not having anything to say to Artie's wife - Picture of goomah with bunny ears in the post The series ends with both families gathered together - at tony's funeral, as he dies in the hospital, something. |

Re: ***Official Sopranos Next To Last Episode Thread***
Not that I'm complaining, but I was kinda hoping & expecting that the final episodes would involve Tony getting the double-whammy of problems with the NY crew, *and* increasing pressure from the Feds, perhaps the latter a result of Adriana's remains being found.
