You could maybe argue that point with regards to Prowler in the Yard and Terrorizer. Have you listened to 38 Counts of Battery though? That's a grindcore album for sure, and a damn good one at that. Their best work IMO.

I don't get all the love for The Berzerker. Yes they're very fast, but everything else about them is unremarkable. Being fast doesn't make up for mediocre vocals and riffs.

The Bleeding is the 2nd best metal album ever, after Reign in Blood. IN MY OPINION. Listen to Stripped, Raped and Strangled and come back to me and tell me that it sucks please. CC has stayed around WAY TOO long for sure, but they made some totally killer albums. Not my favorite band ever but worth mentioning. If you want to see my list of my 100 favorite metal albums, search for it here, I have posted it before. Then get back to me with your criticisms, hopefully something beyond "what the hell". But really, people just have different tastes so fire away but it ain't really gonna matter.

I agree regarding drumming, most death metal has terrible drumming. I also listen to a lot of "metalcore" or whatever the kids call it, that features drummers that can play complicated hardcore rhythms and guitarists that can shred. Stuff like Liar, Heaven Shall Burn (early stuff), Martyr AD, etc.. Then I just have to deal with crap vocals in the emo-ish parts.

What don't you like about Pig Destroyer? I didn't mention other grindcore because that is not my thing.
