You don't want ACland compared to Somalia, then don't compare every local govt to Somalia either.

We'll continue to do what we always do, which is call a spade a spade.

LOL. Wow this is precious stuff. Until tonight, I would have called you guys some of the smarter folks on this forum. But after this tirade of name calling, hyperbole, and dare I say intellectually dishonest counterarguments, I really lost some faith in having good sparring debates here.

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess we just rise to the level of the challenge. When faced with salvo after salvo of "government owns your property, deal with it punk" over and over again, there's really not much point in treating you with any level of seriousness.

[/ QUOTE ]

I personally don't think these two are equivalent:

A. "government owns your property, deal with it punk"

B. The people of the United States own the territory of the US as it was acquired through a variety of means (whether you agree with those means is debatable), and the territory was never ceded in a sovereign sense in any henceforth transaction. If you want to own your property in a sovereign sense (free from govt rules), then you can attempt to purchase it from the government acting on behalf of the people, who will need to cede the territory to you. In the same sense that you don't truly own your car if the bank holds the title.

Me: I own my body
You: Not if I kill you

Ding. This is what really convinces me that this is skidoo. He was really big on using the descriptive argument to trump the normative.

[/ QUOTE ]

And you're really big on using the slander argument rather than the counterargument. Yawn.

[/ QUOTE ]
Are you sure you know what slander means?

[/ QUOTE ]

1 : the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another's reputation 2 : a false and defamatory oral statement about a person

Yeah, I'm quite sure. Thanks for checking.

[/ QUOTE ]
Is that your final answer...?

C. "change it or move" + "You either accept it, try to change it, move, or buy the whole complex out and make your own rules" + "I still obey their laws or am thrown out on my ass" + "YOU never owned any of it" + "Was the land ever ceded at any time by the government?" (400x) + "guess what -- your land was never "yours" in the sense you might wish it to be" + "that is ultimately the way it is. Look at a map" + "As much as you might not like it, that is the reality of the situation" + "Sucks, I guess" + ...

So I embelished a (tiny) bit with the "punk", but the rest was an accurate distillation of your "arguments" up to this point.

It looks like Kaj went to bed, so I hope that when everyone comes back tomorrow we can have a little less mockery.

Dudes, you ACers are looking sad and pathetic resorting to this BS.

The mods have already decided they don't want you on this forum. Why instead you make gimmick accounts to insult people with instead is beyond me.

[/ QUOTE ]

And to think I mostly respected you as a poster as near back as yesterday.

Hey, I warned you.
