Default Re: PayTRU Sucks!

there was a period in march when they also stopped shipping cards (a couple weeks after stars introduced the card). guess they were overwhelmed with volume (they did not say a shortage of cards)

i actually really like cashing out via paytru. its just faster and more reliable than waiting for a check. i guess the key is dont try to use it for purchases because sometimes the transactions are declined.

so just so stars knows there are at least a few people very satisfied with the service.

but in my opinion paytry is pretty good when you just use it for cash at atms.

i need to pull money outta stars and put some money in ultimate bet, can i do that using the paytru atm? stars is making me take my cashout of $200 on the paytru atm card, and isnt letting me use epasseport instead, although ive used epasseport hundreds of times, and that pisses me off. if id won big and had much more money then any amount over a certain amount id been able to withdraw of my choice, but not this $200.

Just because it's a common plastic card, doesn't mean they are not subject to normal produciton issues. Whoever is actually making the cards might have a huge order from chase or the like and paytru likely has to wait in line because their batches are small.

Or, they got swamped and are running around trying to find a new/additional supplier and can't promise 3 week delivery anymore as a result..

I'm not saying this is what is going on, or whether or not everything is on the up & up, only that this is common for just about anything that gets manufactured.

Come on people. They didn't run out of plastic cards. They reached the number of cards they wanted to issue.

I hate to disrupt the negative vibe but I'm actually starting to warm up to these cards a little more, esp. since it appears I was only charged the $2.50 Paytru charges for a withdrawal but no ATM fee. Not sure why I didn't get charged but I'm not complaining.

Also, canning that monthly fee was a smart move on their part.

What's the max anyone has withdrawn at one transaction using this?

I've done $625 on one of my area ATM's.
And I can do up to $1k in total on consecutive transactions on that machine but I get charged twice obviously.

Quick question for you guys.

I cashed out a week or two ago using paytru. Now when I click on cash out it doesn't show up as an option at all. It says "Deposits made via blah blah blah will be credited back to the same deposit method" and otherwise you get a check. There is absolutely no mention of paytru. Do you guys still have this as an option? I'm still working off of an initial neteller deposit.

I have never had the problem you describe, JaredL, until today. Further up the thread it appears that this has happened to others intermittently:

Wait a few hours and try again. Sometimes the option goes down for one reason or the other. I just cashed out yesterday using paytru and it was fine.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm hoping that's the case this time because my last check took 2 weeks, whereas my last PayTru cashout took 24 hours. I guess I'll hold out until tomorrow and email PS if it's not back.

Why not email PS now? That should be anyone's first option, IMO.
