*********EVENT********
The earth trembles. The day grows dark…and you hear a rumble in the distance. Your party quickly regroups. The trembling grows worse….and you see what appears to be a pack of enormous unidentifiable animals running past you to the east. They pass, but you don’t know who they are or where they came from, and you definitely don’t want to be in the path of another stampede like that one. Perhaps it is time for a little extra reconnaissance. If you send 1 person to investigate, turn to page 50. If you send 2 people to investigate, turn to page 106. If you send 3 people to investigate, turn to page 14. If you decide against splitting the party, turn to page 27. Please PM me your votes by 3pm today. I'm cutting the due time a little short. Please put your vote in the subject line as "Vortex: p##" *********EVENT******** |

Well, Shortline told us about this one. He recommended 2.

I agree, 2 people to send is a good call IMO. Or 3. Either way I think a and d are our worst options.

If any of us go through the vortex, don't forget to take all of Shortline's Journal with you.

He didnt recommend 2, he just investigated it.
If our goal is to get back to reality then 3 might give us the best chance. Since they specifically said kills would be rand() if there were no more evils here, these types of events may be our only chance of getting out alive. Sending an odd number kind of worries me though. Unlike shortline I find it unlikely that the only difference between 1, 2 and 3 would be the number. |

If we send 1, it may be a wolf. If we send 2, we should be in good shape. Sending 1 wolf will not get Shortline's journal back to the group. Maybe sending 3 would be best. Too bad I already voted 2.

We currently have 12 people here. If we do the 3 person option, and three do go through, then tomorrow there will only be 7 here. The problem with sending 1 is, if we send a wolf, we can't depend on him relaying reliable information. If we send two, the odds are very low that both are wolves. And, if we do 3, we have no idea what will happen.
I think it's worthwhile to send the two people back, because it allows us to pass on Shorty's opinions, and tell them that Jared was evil. That's valuable information for everyone. |
