hate to bring up the whole McGill debate, but is it really fair to compare a publicly funded school with 20k+ undergrad students (correct me if wrong) to harvard yale MIT etc? these elite private schools are going to be waaaay more selective in their students, and IMO half the education is the people you are surrounded by. Ive been to a public undergrad (20k students) and private grad. the diff is crazy, but im not a great test case. maybe mcgill better compared to like UofV, Berkeley, UofMich, etc?

Jesus christ why didn't I go to McGill.
Chose Queen's instead because they had nicer facilities and a scholarship to offer but god damn it the Engineering program there is a joke. There are people that I would be embarrassed to be associated with at a high school level of education that I have to associate with daily. Uggggggh.
