yeah, I and many others mentioned 36 Chambers.

"- Jin: The Emcee's Properganda"

Umm. Wow. Presuming you bought this record, I can now say I semi-know someone who actually did.

Let's be real, Kingdom Come was a pathetic album. It's unfortunate he has to live up to black album standards, but Jay-Z just flopped with this album IMO. I bought it and gave it a few listens and it just never did anything for me.

it had some good songs, I didn't think it was bad at all. Anything is probably his worst song ever though.

The album grew on me. I think it's just him trying to be a lot more mature than any other rap album yet and that the subject matter is hard to get into, and there are a few songs with such bad rhymes that they put a bad taste in your mouth for the rest of the album, but for the most part I still think it's a way above average rap album (although easily Jay's worse yet)

My Top 10. In no order. (because I can't choose the best)

1. Brotha Lynch Hung - Season of the Siccness
So raw. Lynch's flow is incredible. This is like a hardcore horror movie with no video. Don't take the lyrics seriously and this is a great, great album.

2. 2Pac - Me Against The World
To me, this is the best Pac album with Makavelli very close. All Eyes On Me has too many filler tracks. On this album Pac was thinking a lot deeper than he ever was on other albums.

3. Outkast - Southernplayalistik
Outkast's best work before the money made Andre weird. Gangsta, yet still very lyrical and creative.

4. Tech N9ne - Absolute Power
Wooo I can't believe people still sleep on Tech. One of if not the most creative in the game. Seriously check this album out.

5. Tech N9ne - Anghellic
The first Tech album where he showed his creativity. A little more eerie than Absolute Power, but I believe he wanted to tone it down after all of the BS devil worship ish.

6. Royce Da 5'9'' - Death Is Certain
Classic album. While the beats and tracks are a little repetitive, they are so good you won't care. Royce's lyrics on this album are killin 99% of anything else out.
"I got a babe that works for the courts/I'ma license plate number away from the front of your porch"

At night or in broad day, drive by or sitting in the bushes all day
However you hunt (go get 'em!)
"The K the AR, the Pump, the Hand Gun, get it however you want
Park in the front, get out, walk and then dump
Pull off slow leaving no tire marks in the front...go
The go-rilla, know he gon' leave footprints
So he gets his shoes the size a so bigger"

7. Eightball & MJG - On Top Of The World
Such a great album. From playa ish to hard times ish. You can't go wrong with this album. This album has one of my favorite rap tracks "Friend or Foe" on it.

I'm thinking about hard times
freeing my mind
who in the [censored] goin be my crutch?
Holdin me up, helpin me out
makin sure that I stay in touch
Where do I sleep, who do I turn to?
When I be low on my cash
who am I down with when fifty niggas be talkin bout kickin my ass?

8. Paul Wall & Chamillionaire - Get Ya Mind Correct
OMG PAUL WALL WTF? Hold on, this is long before the mainstream Paul Wall. This album is great. Both of their flows are top notch. The lyrics are killin anything they have done recently.

9. TRU - True
The best No Limit CD to me. A classic from before No Limit got too huge for their own good.

[/b] 10. Scarface - The Diary
Goin Down is possibly the best rap song ever. So is I Seen a Man Cry.

Tied for 11.
Dr. Dre - The Chronic
Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle
Spice 1 - 187 He Wrote
Tech-N9ne - Everready: The Religion
Tela - Piece Of Mind
Tru - Tru 2 Da Game
UGK - Super Tight & Ridin Dirty
Young Bleed - My Balls & My Word
C-Loc - Whatever
