WSEX is certainly the most comparable to the old Absolute, in both overhead reduction and game quality.

If you have rakeback at UB, and play enough hands per week to hit the highest points for cash numbers, it should be near the ballpark for 1/2 players, assuming that they continue to offer frequent reloads as they have in the past. They've been in a bit of a drought recently. If they're replacing reloads with pfc it's only good for those with massive stacked amounts.

FT still uses dealt RB? Can anyone estimate the actual difference between dealt and contributed.Say for an average TAG type player,is there much of a difference in reality?

i have chatted on most of my tables yesterday to update people on the change. Almost all had no idea of the change. I think Absolute will seee a lot of emails in the coming weeks as people notice their bonus is not clearing near as fast. I was suprised by how many 25/10 and 30/20 players had no clue of the change. Keep emailing the vip dept as I think they may consider pro-rating any existing bonus you had before the change or possibly make some changes. It looks like they are at considering it, at least that's what was told to me.

I think at the very least this move will slow that climb.Whether or not it will cause a descent remains to be seen, but it wouldnt suprise me.

The early indication is a 2-6% decrease this week. Still early and wonder how many know or care.

Once games become harder to find people may move as well.

I would think their management has expectations that would be favorable to them, time will tell.

No

Excellent analaysis. Doesn't show off your math skills much, and the opportunity was laid out quite nicely for you, but your right...I am high.

Actually that's a lie, I just wanted to be nice because usually when you say something thoughtless you get into a flame war and apologize later and then ask for peace and I thought this would be more efficient. Peace.

But more to the point of my numbers, it occurred to me later that a possible problem with the comparison is that my post change session included a player to my right that limped into my blinds the whole time, so I saw an irregular number of flops, thus skewing the numbers greatly.

I also got the form email, as well as a response to my question about MGR. Turns out they are using the Party Poker system. That is, they don't actually read the email before responding to it, I was referred to my affiliate for all special requests concerning rakeback or trackers.
