Rate my Subway standard: turkey, double meat, avocado, bacon, a little mayo and mustard, nothing else on the sandwich. Bread according to mood. More than once I've had the Subway employee compliment men on my sandwich.

[/ QUOTE ]

Do all stores have avocado? I knew it was available

[/ QUOTE ]

No, depends on the market.

I just wanted to apologize for seriously screwing your stores over in college by buying massive amounts of Subway stamps on ebay. I'd guess I ended up spreading over $3k of bad cards out over a dozen local Subways in Milwaukee in the 4 years I was in college before you guys got wise to the flaws in the stamp program.

I worked at Subway for 3 years and have a few things to say.

1.) It is a given that employees will steal food. It happens, everyone knows it happens. I gave out food to friends, took sandwiches home, etc. I know our food costs were very low compared to other stores, so I had no issues doing so. I worked much harder and more efficiently than almost anyone in any of my owner's stores.

2.) A lot of employees steal money. I admit that over my 3 years I stole $5 a shift after I became a shift leader. I know other employees stole >$50 at times. It is really easy to do; memorize the price of a meal, take the money, give them change, remember how much is in the register (that isn't in the computer) and take it out when you close.

3.) I worked a Subway in a major mall, which was awful. Everyone was on their cell phones or pushing a stroller, it was a [censored] mess. We would also do over 100 units each hour, every hour we were open, during this time of the year. Running at a consistant 18 productivity with 5-7 people on is really, really stressful.

4.) The best possible sandwich;
- A white bread, fresh, hopefully monterray cheddar
- Roasted Chicken
- American cheese
- Lettuce
- Tomato (if they look good)
- Onion
- Green Pepper
- Ranch or caesar dressing (whichever you prefer, good with either, I usually go ranch)
- Chipotle Southwest
- Then, buy a bag of Baked Ruffles Cheddar Sour Cream, crunch them up and spread them on the sandwich.

I made this for many people who were regulars and it became their sandwich of choice.

[/ QUOTE ]

About the stealing, i have set i give people breaks, but nobody ever gets away with stealing cash, i have NEVER done it and i have fired countless people for doing so. We have a very good camera system.

My store does 100 hrs during most of the year, but i never have more then 4 working at a time. I did do the mall thing for a few months while going to college, it sucked.

And I eat a very similar sub to yours and I love it.

is this you?

if not - have you ever met him? do you think he still has a fat person face?

[/ QUOTE ]

My pathetic "C" celebrity siting. I saw him in a Chicago bar about 5 years back. I was drunk, so I when I saw him across the room, I started yelling his name... he flinched, but managed not to acknowledge my drunk azz... right after, a girl said his name, and he swiveled and smiled like it was his job. Nicely played.

I've always assumed he was never really that fat or he had undergone massive surgery to look like he is today. I mean, where the hell did all the extra skin go.

Not that he doesn't do great things despite lying to people about losing weight, but come on, this has to be a hoax.

you messed up w/ the american cheese, but you go and do something like this...

and TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF w/ the chip-olt-lay sauce and crushed chip topping.

It is pretty uncommmon (read: impossible) to lose 200 lbs and end up looking like a person who has been skinny his whole life.

However, it IS possible to find a skinny guy that looks like a fat person, and give him a big pair of pants to hold up next to him.
