Re: Ask Me Anything About Ebay
Degen,
Some of the sellers I buy jerseys or electronics from are in Asia. I have thought of moving over there for a little while and setting up an ebay business. I know you can get goods for pennies on the dollar in hong kong. What about other parts of asia? |

Re: Ask Me Anything About Ebay
How hard is it to sell large items on eBay (like furniture, etc.)? Is it even worth it? Can you get the buyer to pay shipping? I can't imagine someone making a large purchase even from a picture if they can't inspect it first hand. But I have some furniture items to sell.

Re: Ask Me Anything About Ebay
This thread has sent me off researching Hong Kong and Thailand products and the feasability of starting an import/export biz. Hopefully the op comes back and answers some of your questions because this is interesting. Also would be great if someone who exports from Asia did an ask thread.

Re: Ask Me Anything About Ebay
You have all been leveled. OP has decided to sell the business, and now the truth is out.
[ QUOTE ] Yearly sales 400k Net Profit: (beaten dow for tax reasons) 60k Offer: over 150k [/ QUOTE ] $150k doesn't seem like much for a business generated $120k per month in profit... |

Re: Ask Me Anything About Ebay
I sell on ebay all the time - the minute I read that he makes 3 to 6$ on shipping AND adds 5 to 10$ for handling I thought....[censored]!
