What are you talking about? KKF was spot on with VERY good advice for you.

Unless I misread, I think he was complimenting him.

While there are multiple hands that he can have, I do think that he will almost always play AA like this, while the others he will not do so every time. So that makes AA the most likely hand

[/ QUOTE ]

This does not follow logically. If you attach some specific probabilities to various hands in his range, you can come to the conclusion you come to but the quoted text above is not true in all cases.

Python, everytime I read one of your posts, I get stuck on your avatar and don't make it any further through the thread.

Ghazban, not sure why you think this does not make sense. I think that if he has AA, he plays this way 95-99% of the time. However, other hands that he could have: As8s, Js10s, 88, sometimes do not reraise preflop, sometimes check call the turn, etc. Therefore, it makes AA the most likely holding for him. However, the additive probabilities of him holding other hands given his chosen line amounted to a figure that made me think that folding was not the best course of action.

Note - and this is important: I probably would have folded if the turn had completed a rainbow (thus killing a number of his draws and in turn making it more likely that AA is his holding).

Samo pushed and villain called with As8s and caught a non-pairing spade on river. Great [censored] thread everybody.

samo, folding 33 or 88 but calling with 99 is not the right move in this hand, IMO... as i was saying before, he's not value 3 betting the 3rd nuts here often because he doesn't think you'll call with the 4th usually... i think this is a spade draw or AA most of the time, therefore 33 88 and 99 should all either be a call or a fold.
