karak,

are you not concerned that bonds is going to play, like, once every three days after he hits 756?

[/ QUOTE ]

a little

i just see him playing at least 2/3

and with his near .500 OBP i guess it is kinda worth it?

im not really sure what to think of him right now

what stats does your league use again?

even if you have someone to play on his off days, it just seems like you're giving up a lot for someone who in a best-case scenario is a part-time player nearing retirement in a bad lineup.

im trying to move haren straight up for bonds then

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you can do better.

I just traded Peavy for Big Papi (7x5), and Harens #'s are pretty close to Peavy. Neither of their names are at the Johan level, so I would imagine their trade levels, especially in an average fantasy league, are pretty close.

depending on the stats you use, Bonds really isn't great. decent HR's, few RBI's, great OBP + SLG.

kkcountry,

In your scoring system, I'd be inclined to take Olivo first, then Pierznyski , then Laird. Barret is splitting time 50/50 with Bard, Napoli is hurt and splits 60/40 with Molina. Salty is a backup, and Ross disappears for 2-3 weeks at a time.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh i forgot I've also got LoDuca as my Catcher right now? Pick up Olivo over him?

If LoDuca is your starter, then I don't see changing to any of these guys making a big difference. What does that guy in your league want for Posada?

ok some guy near last place is shopping poo holes

he wants a SP and another player

i don't need him that bad, but i have some pieces to deal if i can get a good one.

my SP: maine, randy j, marshall, maddux, d lowe, vasquez

i could deal a RP: accardo, betancourt, bell, okajima, villanueva (holds count, so those last 4 have all been v v good)

or i could move one of my bats: manny, mauer, luis gonzalez, mike cameron, zimmerman, etc. i also have victor martinez but i'd rather not trade him.

what's your initial offer? how high do you go?

you would need to deal a few of your guys for Albert, start with a few you dont need.

so, is Jack Cust for real? would anyone give up Chris B Young for him?

Cust will not be worth having (at least in a mixed league) when Piazza gets back. Piazza will be the primary DH, with Stewart / Kotsay / Swisher in the OF and Johnson at 1B. As much as Cust K's, inconsistent playing time will make it really hard for him to get on any kind of a roll. Also, Cust's current BABIP is around .350; it will come down (his K:BB ratio has been declining rapidly as well). I'd rather have Chris B. Young than Cust.

Just got offered a trade which I find kindof humorous. A team named "big papi and friends" just offered me big papi for sheffield. I think I will politely decline.
