Oh buzz off. BTYS was there and it was a first-person report. According to him, every single member of the Giants (not "a few", as you state) game back on the field after the game, except Bonds. On Bonds' last night as a Giant.

If that's not being a prick, I don't know what is.

Except the part about Fan Appreciation Day was on Sunday, and this game was on a Wednesday.

And the part about tons of people leaving the stands before the 7th when Bonds left the game.

Or the part about even the most ardent Bond's critics in the media reporting it was a celebratory lovefest.

But yeah, if you want to look at it as him being a 'prick', go right ahead....lol...

[ QUOTE ]

BTW, if you're going to take up the banner of "Bonds isn't a prick," you're going to be up against 100x more overwhelming evidence than the mountain of evidence that he used steroids.

[/ QUOTE ]

No doubt, considering what you call "evidence".

i'm not gonna take a side in this, as a giants fan i'm obligated to love bonds, but:

1. ~70% of teh fans were still in attendance after the bonds tribute video
2. it was a celebratory lovefest. even after bonds's error, the ENTIRE bleachers started a "BARRY! BARRY" chant
3. bonds was the only member of the 25 man roster not on the field

carry on

Happiest: Liverpool winning champions league when 3-0 down at half time in 2005

Saddest: meh Ireland losing world cup on penaltys in 2002

Saddest for Everson Walls. It has kept him out of HOF.

You know what a box pool is, right? I assume you do. It's not like I wagered against the Eagles in any way.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I know what a box pool is, and I understand that you didn't knowingly wager against the Eagles.

I'm not saying what you did is wrong, it's perfectly fine obv. I just wouldn't want to be put in the situation where the Eagles could score and it could be (financially) bad for me. I hate having conflict of interests.

When that kid caught the ball Alou was supposed to catch made me the saddest or actually maddest.

Notice how he revised the story to drop the "Fan Appreciation Night", or the part about "the loudest booing I ever heard", or the "entire 40k" went to "about 70%".

Not to mention the 40 man roster vs 25 man roster.

Oops is right.....lol
