its the equivalent of having a satellite that *only* super-sat winners can enter. no direct buy-ins to the main satellite.

it makes no sense

all this talk of "pros" is [censored] stupid.

what defines a pro from a non-pro?

this is absolutely retarded babble going on by people who aren't happy that they put money into an unprofitable investment (unprofitable because they're not good enough)

i don't hear you complaining about those like stars 162 feeders that lead to the hundred grand that is "full of pros". maybe because the talent level is low enough in that that you actually feel like you may not be an automatic loser.

which is fine for you, but for somoene who is slightly worse than you, they might feel the same way about those as you do about the steps

quit your bitching and learn basic strategy, it's not like a bunch of donkament retard "pros" are zomg impossible to beat in a damn donk n go

are you guys seriously complaining about ppl buying in at higher levels?

you're nuts

and who's to say where the cutoff is? why step 4? it doesn't make any sense. anyoen can buy-in anywhere.

thats how its always been w/ every single steps structure on the net.

also, restricting steps to ppl that only win 1 seat is very lol. what happens if someone racks up 8 tickets to step 6 and wins on his first try? what happens to the remaining 7 tickets that are nontransferrable and noncashable?

you can play whereever/whenever/however many times you want. thats the entire nature of it. the only restriction is that you can't cash out at any point.

Given the very lame payout system Stars came up with for Level 6: 18 players spots 4-18 pay $0, its idiotic for any lower limit player to play these when your going to be playing against an all star field of high stakes SNGers everytime

At the very least a 1 table Level 6 with all spots after 1st getting a STEP ticket helps a little.

Suggestions:

1. No direct buy-in to the high stakes levels: Level 5/6. Level 4 and under only for direct buy-ins.
The whole concept of the STEPS system is you start at the bottom and work your way up. If the high stakes SNGers want to multiple table the Level 4s and work their way up to Level 6...more power to them.

If you want to be hardcore then no direct buy-in for the high stakes levels- 4 and up.

2. Make the lower levels(1/2/3) turbos.

3. Level 6 is a single table with 1st paying out the $12K prize and 2-9th getting a STEP ticket of varying level. The 18 player Level 6 is retarded.

4. Allow for STEP 4 tickets($215) to be used in the Sunday Millions and Sunday Second Chance/ETC. Or simply create a 4 or 5 level STEP program for the Sunday Millions

5. Create seperate STEPS that payout $$$$. or give 12K $T for every win after your first instead of 12K $W.

come to think of it, you're probably right DMK.. I guess the non-direct buy-in thing is what I'd ideally like, especially given my idea of what steps should be.. but this way is fine..plus ya, S&G's with 10 min blinds should give everyone a decent chance.
