Any FSU fans out there? lmao. Bowden makes Carr look like...a better college football coach.

[/ QUOTE ]
Okay. Carr sucks. Bowden sucks. Miles sucks.

Does a good coach even exist to the people on this forum? (Serious question.)

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you implying these guys aren't bad?

I have never seen anyone state something like, "wow, ________ is a good coach" on this board.

I'm just reacting to the overwhelming negativity.

Carr I understand. That is obvious. Bowden, okay I can see that. But after LSU's 05 season after Katrina, I don't understand Miles getting all the criticism. To pull LSU together after that event for a 2 loss season in the SEC, and a TROUNCING of Miami in the Peach Bowl with a backup QB was, I thought, a very nice job of coaching.

No other Husky fans out there besides Hey Porter? We are about to pull maybe the only upset of the weekend here, other than Oregon beating up on pitiful Michigan.

IMO, it's not very often in sports that good coaches are appreciated as often as bad coaches are criticized. It's the nature of the job. Same probably holds true on these boards.

Seems like good teams are viewed as good because of their talent... and underachieving teams are doing so because of their coach. According to the general public, at least.

Husky fan here. Didn't have high expectations, but with Locker as QB we really can make an impact in the Pac 10. We will definitely do better than we were projected.

I'm not a huge Husky fan, but they did look pretty damn good. Some very nice play-calling in the first half, I thought, good misdirection that had Boise fooled a bunch. D-line is pretty good.

I think I'm going to to the OSU game next week.

A few coaches I think are/were pretty good off the top of my head:

3 RIP's: Bill Walsh..NFL of course, Randy Walker, Terry Hoeppner
Saban, Zook, Schiano, Rich Rodriguez, Petrino, Tressel, Alvarez, Carroll i still think too.

That's just a few off the top of my head. There are others of course.

Is it just me or does it seem like ESPN is already trying to crown Clausen as the greatest QB of all time?

Am I really going to have to endure four years of ESPN constantly sucking this guy's [censored]. Good lord, they just compared him to Tiger, LebRon and Crosby.

Great game today. The huskies have a better team, but those pesky Broncos had a lot of fight in them and wouldn't quit.. Marcel Reese made some huge plays, but I'd like to see more consistency from him and for him to hot drop too many balls...

It should be one hell of an atmosphere next week at the Dawg House when they take on the Buckeyes
