People [censored] up. It's a fact of life. The true measure of someone's character is whether they learn from it and don't make the same mistake again.
The cynical part of me says he thinks his mistake was getting caught. My optimistic side says he's genuine. The truth is probably somewhere in between. The jealous part of me wishes I was good enough that multi accounting large tournaments would be a +EV move for me and I'd have this temptation.
