Does Mario Batali get a pass on the orange Crocs since he's been wearing them for years?

[/ QUOTE ]

Does he wear Crocs or just standard kitchen clogs? There's a difference right?

I still don't understand why yard sales are trashy?

[/ QUOTE ]

Lemme piggy back on it then tell me what you think?

My sister would go through peoples garbage and sell it at a garage sale, better?

On all the coments about bumber stickers and car window decals...

I see this often. I think it's ridiculous and can only hope no one would ever do this if I died. The rear window decal that says "In memory of _______ 19xx-200x." Why would you dedicate a car window to someone's memory? Name a hospital wing after me. Name your first born after me. That's a tribute, not a window.

[/ QUOTE ]

Some pro skateboarder who lived in my town died, people made him a "NEVER FORGET (guys name)" with this little black and white design thing. Now whenever ANYONE dies a sticker like that gets made. I have seen at least 50 different names on cars in my town. However, there is one that always catches my attention. There was this kid i went to school with from K-12. He was a giant giant dick to everyone, stereotypical idiot bully who just was an ass to anyone around.

Then when we were in High School the following thing happened:

-Bully kid goes to Mexico for Spring Break.
-Gets ridiculously drunk.
-Decides to hop in car and drive 20 miles along the Baja coast to liquor store.
-Crashes his car into a boulder after a mile.
-Walks back to house they're staying in.
-Borrows another car to drive same route.
-Falls asleep at the wheel, car drives off cliff into the ocean below.
-Kid dies.

Seriously, is there anything more fitting/darwinistic?

On top of everything wrong with them, how unsanitary is it to have his feet exposed like that in the kitchen.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would expect not very, unless he touches his feet in the kitchen, in which case it's going to be unsanitary no matter what he's wearing.

Honestly I think you're way off on the croc thing, Clark. And that's not because I like them or wear them. I don't own a pair.

It's just that the only people I've ever seen wear them are all yuppie nouveau-hippies that live in the Pearl district here in Portland.

The lower back tattoo has been noted already, and I will add these trashy fashion mistakes for women:

* Wearing sheer blouses or thin cotton pants while also wearing dark underwear (or even white, which you will still see). Bonus trash points for wearing white under dark sheer or vice versa. The reason for lingerie to come in "nude" is for women to be able to wear flimsy garments without showing where the flesh ends and the underwear begins.

* Wearing a jacket or coat that is longer than the skirt underneath. Looks like they're headed to a striptease appointment.

* Wearing stockings darker than the shoes

Skirts and hose are not in fashion right now, so you hardly see the last two. But the first happens way too often.
