If I joined a club, it would be a chess club, or a math club. These are places where the non-hideous girl population is pretty much zero (within epsilon, anyway). And I'm not going to join a club I'm not interested in just for the small chance of meeting women. Hence the long drought. I do broaden my horizons, FWIW, those horizons just aren't fem-filled. And before you accuse me of bitching, it may serve you to realize that I wasn't complaining... just explaining the drought. To sum it up, for me to rectify the situation, as Suiteness said, I would have to essentially go out girl-hunting because none of my interests intersect theirs.

i would really like to take a cooking class, but sadly i work a schedule that doesn't allow much outside organized activity...i work from 10am - 8/9pm, initially i thought this would be great cuz i wouldn't have to get up early, but working that late sucks ass...perhaps a weekend class [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Im going to give you some suggestions for things that you may/may not be interested in that will give you a chance to meet chicks: buy some chess books at the book store, sit and read at teh book store, there are always girls there go to a wine/scotch/bourbon tasting event this is one of my never before heard tips: go to the art museum when they are having special charity events (Im talking, at night, open bar/free food, everyone dressed up) take random classes that might interest you at your community college eat out...a lot gamble @ casinos

[/ QUOTE ] Google for Adult/Continuing Education in your neighborhood. There's a boatload of classes offered. You should be able to find one that isn't testosterone heavy to try out. Here's the schedule for classes near my hometown. There's probably 100 options on there. Your local community colleges should offer similar.
