4. Doom 2 3. Re: Your five favorite games of all time?
This is so hard because games have changed and expanded so much since most of us started playing. Off the top of my head after going through these my favorites would be:
Chrono Trigger Legend of Zelda OOT and Link to the Past Goldeneye + WCW vs NWO (or whatever) for multiplayer games Baseball Stars (I dunno) Super Mario 3, World, and 64 |

Re: Your five favorite games of all time?
Hmm.. the five games that I've enjoyed the most in order
1. Tecmo Super Bowl (still play it today) 2. Everquest (had to mention it since I played religiously for 5 years) 3. Final Fantasy III (SNES, only RPG that I've beaten more than a couple of times) 4. Legend of Zelda (first one, still great, I'm humming the music right now) 5. Goldeneye + WCW vs NWO (had to mention these because for about a year there they were such an integral part of my everyday life, we played the hell out of these games in Bosnia, often attracting 15 people huddled around my small living space, my friend and I would talk so much smack to each other during the day on who had the belt and who was the actual #1 contender) Another generation of games that I loved early on was the NHL Hockey series' from EA Sports on the PC. Can't remember exact years, but I thinking from about 94 - 95 or 96, back before the graphics started getting upgraded. Back then every character looked the same, but I had so much fun playing it. I most have played through entire seasons. I remember my first season playing it I don't even think that I made the playoffs, or if I did, I didn't make it past the first round. Anyways, by the time that the second one came out, I had figured out how to score, but it didn't matter. My goal as always was to attempt to lead the league in penalty minutes, so I'd often take running checks at people and hope to get a 5 min major. Ah, the days. Sometimes I'd just run through an entire season without selecting a team and then print off the results of it to compare stats. Don't ask me why I did it but the other day while cleaning my old room at my parents place, I found a bunch of them. Such good memories. |
