Wood and Marmol could give the Cubs two "Oh [censored]" guys out of the pen. Something they were lacking early in the year. Even the guys that were somewhat solid weren't auto-shutdown guys like Woody and Marmol could be.

I don't think Fontenot is bad against lefties, he seems to be hitting the ball hard against them. But I didn't see the point in moving DeRosa out to a position he doesn't play that well.

Morgan is way better than #2 here.

I think the only better 2nd baseman is Hornsby, and I'm sure Morgan's fielding makes it close or puts him over the top.
