so the betpot script doesn't work anymore.
after i changed the value from "party_uses_commas_for_decimals" from "0" to "1", the wheel works again.
but the buttons not.

suggestions ?

Quick fix is to change "party_uses_commas_for_decimals" back to 0, then set *all* you regional settings to UK or US English. (Is this not required for PokerTracker to work properly also?).

I think there may be an error or two in the commas_for_decimals section, I'll have a check.

I just dl'd new betpot on new computer.

Playing on party with the black poker mod, it doesnt work. have newest ahk, bet pot, and fphg downloaded.

pop up comes up saying
party hhf reader
hand history for game #... not found in live

on my bet pot script I tried to change the inital settings in the first couple paragraphs from 0 to 1, 1 to 0 for using or not using old fphg without live folder and it didnt solve it...what can it be?

FPHG is running? FPHG needs at least one complete hand before it kicks in, maybe that is the problem? Mouse Wheel should work regardless.

Looks like Party now has a "pot" indicator on the tables, Will probably add that in as an alternative if FPHG errors occur in the next version, thoughts?

Ocklind, you need to make some edits to the betpot_default_hotykeys.AHK file to set up the function behaviour as you wish.

Change the MButton:: command, replace the word "ssnl" with a zero - this should get you a $35 open raise.

How would you like it to bet from the blinds? with the above change, it should then bet $35 from the SB also - whereas actual pot is less, $30 maybe? what behaviour do you want? (anything is possible)

Easy way, hold CTRL while scrolling.

Other way, again editing the betpot_default_hotkeys.ahk file, change the WheelUp:: and WheelDown:: commands so they look like the CTRL held down versions (^WheelUp:: and ^WheelDown: - this should be obvious enough when you have betpot_default_hotkeys.ahk open on screen... I will elaborate further if need be.

Vista and its higher default security settings are a nightmare for easy running of scripts.

Sledgehammer approach:

Make sure *all* relevant applications Party, FPHG, and the AHK runtime (C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\Autohotkey.exe) are all set to "run as Administrator" in their Properties.

That may be enough, although it may be a lot easier (and may also be required) to disable the UAC also.

Someone posted somewhere in this monster thread a "howto" for Vista, I'll see if I can find it...

BetPot + Vista HowTo
How to get AHK (betpot script) to work on vista.

steps:

- make sure you have latest version of AHK installed.

- make sure your local settings has been set for english(united states) control panel, 'clock, language and region', Regional and Language options.

- install latest version of Party Poker, right click on Party Poker shortcut, properties, compatibility tab, check "Disable desktop composition" and "Run this Program as an Administrator"

- install FPHG v2.09, right click on FPHG shortcut, properties, compatibility tab, check "Run this Program as an Administrator"

- Go th C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\. Now right click on Autohotkey.exe, properties, Compatibility tab, check "Run this program as an administrator"

- run Party, FPHG, and BetPot, and you should be good to go. sometimes it takes a couple of hands for FPHG to start writing hhf files before BetPot works.
