I just put in a 200 hand session where I learned that the 2nd nuts does not, in fact, beat the nuts....

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm down about $450 today when getting it allin with the nuts. Down another $500 when running 2nd nuts into nuts (I don't care what you say keiwikikiwiak I'm calling my AA hand 2nd nuts [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]).

Okay this is really just tilting me hardcore. My laptop keeps overheating in like 15 minute intervals, and stalls for like 5 minutes. Playing poker is impossible, and I'm literally bleeding like 300 dollars a day not playing.

If someone can buy me a macbook pro for 2860 I will send them money on either stars or FTP and will send another 50 dollars for their trouble.

PM me.

Try putting something underneath the laptop so the air can flow better. And if that doesn't help, switch from PAHUD to Realtime. It's as good if not better and it's very resource-friendly compared to PAHUD and also it doesn't need PT running while playing.

On my old laptop the cpu ran at 100% constantly w/ PAHUD + PT, with Realtime about 20% on average.

my god i suck at 6 tabling.

everytime i am crushing the games just 4 tabling i try to add more and end up spewing like a tard.

oh well

[/ QUOTE ]
I have the same problem. My solution: I just 4-table. It's more fun, less stress, you get a better win-rate, and it makes the game much more interesting and less robotic.

I love it when I notice that somebody is 6-12 tabling and I can abues the fact that he has likely no idea what the table flow is like atm.

[/ QUOTE ]

i don't mean to rain on your parade, but it's really different for everyone. i can 6 table and feel like i know exactly how the game is playing. i try 8 occasionally, but it's just not the same.

i'm sure some people can 8 or even 12 table and still have reads though.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT...

That said, I am officially putting a bounty out:

If anyone, during the rest of September/October (until I get my new monitor), sees me at ANY MORE than 6 tables total (for longer than 2 mins while I sit at a new table/close the old), I will ship them $100.

My God, does my game goes to crap at 7 tables.

That said, I have a challenge for myself starting tonight when I get home: 10k hands by the end of September. That, coupled with a full-time job, should be a solid challenge for myself.

My goal: 4PTBB/100 during that stretch.

GL me!!!

[censored] god damn hate [censored] poker.
Stupid [censored] piece of [censored] god damn [censored] game.

This was me yesterday... and every day before that for sooo long. I was so close to my first 10k month. Was up to 9600. Needed 1 more buy-in.

Then 9 hours ago, I was bored and thought I would play for a bit - not my normal time to play so prob shouldn't have.

400nl for like 4 hours

Then 200nl for like 4 hours when 400 tables had all tags

It's now 9am for me. I haven't slept. This is me:

so you dropped 2 1/2 buy ins and won 1/4, and you're out of happy?

maybe you're playing too high limits

also, i had a cat that looked exactly like that one... only fluffier ears and a little longer hair.... orange eyes and gray though

Yea I got used to winning every session for months
So this was particularly painful compared to that

Spent god damn 8 hours playing trying to get unstuck when, while not being able to see straight, I somehow realised that i was hovering and not moving anywhere and that was a decent time to give up.

My eyeballs hurt. I'm so hungry. I wonder if I can find food at 9am. Never been up this early before. Are things open?
