Re: ***** Clash of the Titans, Week 9: NE @ Ind*****
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] The Colts and Patriots have combined to play four good teams, the Pats played the Cowboys and Chargers and the Colts have played the Titans and the Buccaneers. Then you have a mess of like the Jaguars, the Browns, the Redskins, the Ravens, the Bills. The bottom of NE's schedule is a little weaker than the bottom of IND's schedule but it's overall pretty even. [/ QUOTE ] Chargers are not a good team. No team in the AFC West is "good" [/ QUOTE ] DVOA disagrees with you. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Colts did play on the road against each of their divison opponents. [/ QUOTE ] So they were at home against each of their non-division opponents? In other words, I do not know what point you are trying to make. And wtf dude, I picked Jax +3. Your team sucks and is making me look foolish. [/ QUOTE ] Sooner or later you'll come around and realize that at least half, if not most of those early Saints losses were flukes [/ QUOTE ] I'm willing to admit the Saints are a good team NOW. I'm not willing to admit there was any reason to believe the Saints were a good team at 1-4. Or 2-4. You will never convince me of this. [/ QUOTE ] All it took was that game against Seattle to convince me, not to mention losing the other games to crap like repeated Brees INTs and Deuce McAllister fumbles. |

This is so cool, btw, that I can spout stuff like "DVOA disagrees with you" without really having any [censored] clue what I'm talking about.

Cody/Richard, Saints sucked. Broncos suck. Panthers aren't very good. Please don't pretend that those were all at least .500 ball clubs when the played the Colts please. [/ QUOTE ] NY Jets, San Diego, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Miami, and Washington Sucked. I'm not insulting the Pats, they played great (probably could've won by a litlte more too) but lets not pretend that the Colts wouldn't have numbers very similar if they'd played these teams. Cody |

[ QUOTE ]
Even though the Pats won, this game proved that they are beatable. It makes it more interesting for every other team. [/ QUOTE ] What are you crazy? The colts needed 150 yrds in penalties (many bad calls and several bad no calls). The pats are beatable if something goes horribly wrong outside of their control. |

kyro, Just saying you can use that same argument with Pats vs. SD. [/ QUOTE ] I've posted before that SD sucked when they played the Pats. I'm just pointing out to RT that saying the Saints were a .500 team when the Colts played them is stupid. |
