Even though the Pats won, this game proved that they are beatable. It makes it more interesting for every other team.

This game was extremely even, yea the penalties hurt the Pats and yes the Addai run was flukey but stuff like that happens. The thing IND should be terrified about is that they came in punched the Pats in the face and imposed their defensive will early on and still lost mainly due to their special teams. Without the infinite lapses on special teams for Indy I don't know if NE overcomes their early deficit. This is the biggest thing I am worried about if I am a Colt fan looking to the AFC championship game.

[/ QUOTE ]

You sir, aren't kidding. Letting NE start from the 40+ each time probably had something to do with that final score. Of course, playing that poorly and holding them a few times speaks highly of the defense, not that they were in question.

Well, it proved the colts can beat them. I'm a believer now that the Colts are a great team.

It's nice to see two disturbingly good football teams in the same season.

I am psyched for the rest of the season, mainly because if the Pats keeping rolling on everyone else it proves how much better these two teams are then everyone else.

Colts did nothing in the first half, hucking the ball and getting crappy PI calls is far from dominating. If one of those does not get called, its 14 or 21-3 Pats early. The Colts with every advantage in this one blew it. They are a DOME TEAM still and I look forward to watching you tards freeze your butts off in January...if you can get by Tennessee.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't understand how no PIs = points for the Patriots.

[/ QUOTE ]

There is no effin way we agree on something. Retract your statement plz.

[/ QUOTE ]
LOL I was thinking the exact same thing. You first, you're the Patriots guy.

who thought the game was rather "meh." I agree that in the championship game, with Marvin Harrison back, it should be fun to watch.

So they were at home against each of their non-division opponents?

In other words, I do not know what point you are trying to make.

And wtf dude, I picked Jax +3. Your team sucks and is making me look foolish.

Colts outplayed the Pats in my opinion. I am not sure how we came away with a victory. The Colts are far better than I had them pegged.
Looking forward to SB 41 1/2

Bolded is correct. The difference in the Pats and Colts stats thus far has been largely schedule. Pats had a better gameplan today though, also, Peyton picked a great day to suck a dick.

Schedule? The Pats and Colts schedule hasn't been all that different in terms of difficulty.

Right you said that, but you're either ignoring that the COlts play in the AFC South (the toughest division in football) and the Pats play in the AFC East (a division where teams have wins because they play each other and one of them has to).

For every game so far the COlts have played a team .500 or better (giving NO credit at 0-0). That Pats have played awful teams. They beat them unmercifully, so it's not like they're soft, but ignoring the strength of schedule here and touting the high numbers doesn't make alot of sense.

Historical note, the last team to go 14-0 played only one winning team that year. It takes alot of things comming together to run the table and the Pats, save for games with DAL IND and PIT, have the schedule to do so.
