Fozzy that would be awesome if you tried to make some chips. The ones that we have been using are cool but they could definitely be a lot cooler.

Re: Any Full Tilt Mods Yet? (1 included)
I need to try and find, or make a good blank chip layout like i have been using for making cards. It isnt real easy, for me anyway,to try and mod an existing set of chips. It would be easier with a blank layout, so I could just color in the lines, etc. My PhotoShop skills arent exactly great.
Anyone have anything for chips, like I have here for cards? |

You're probably better off with vector graphics for this.

Better that I leave it to someone else.
I love Gregg777's chips. I wish he would make a full set of standard tourney color chips. Although, I only really use chips0 and chips3. |

nvm, I thought you were talking about the WSOP logo.
If you want outlines of the chips3 file, just zoom in really close and use the rectangular marquee tool to draw a box around one. Then just duplicate it several times and you'll have chip outlines. |

The one or 2 times I tried to mod chips - they either turned out really blocky, or with bad transparency issues. I have no desire to even attempt a set of chips. I am happy with the chips of Gregg777 I use from the wiki page. I would only beat my head against the wall in frustration trying chips. |

I sort of used them while making my original table images/templates. I just don't know enough about photoshop to know how to best make use of the vector graphics. I have a feeling I didnt do it properly when I was making my tables. Some of my templates have Un-Rasterized shapes, some aren't. I was unsure what was the best way to have them, before converting the PSD to a JPG. Its not easy to learn Photoshop on the fly. |

Re: Any Full Tilt Mods Yet? (1 included)
I just use Flash to do my vector stuff. I only use it to make very basic stuff usually anyway, and it's fairly simple to use if your image consists mostly of lines, circles, and simple curves. The pen tool on photoshop is very hard and time consuming for me and seems best fit for real drawings where there are many complex curves.
Another option is to make a large version of the chip, say work on a 200x200 board or maybe more, then resize. That's how a lot of graphics are done. If I wanted to reproduce gregg's chips, I'd probably go with the large version in photoshop, since it's basically glares / shadows. If I wanted to have something that resembles real casino chips (with the stripes, circles in the center, etc) I'd make it a vector graphic first, then export as a large png and resize it in photoshop. Basically when you're working with a lot of corners and lines and solid colors, vector graphics are better. |
