[ QUOTE ]
folding to a 3bet seems like a v bad idea here.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is what i was thinking during the hand so i flat called (lol more tagfish behavior?)... but really what three bets here? maybe JJ? both players were tags and showed no fishy behavior previously

on the turn (8o) the action goes bet $8, raise to $30, hero makes a standard fold?

Yes. I'm sorry he had AQ or J9.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pretty obv I lost I know lol.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, when he has AQ here I feel kinda foolish for betting his hand for him. But if he is a true calling station his mistake is calling to much, and we abuse that by betting more for value with our marginal hands.

The one thing that sucks is that an obvious draw hit, but I don't see me folding to anything less than a push, and probably not even to that, and I think that this villain is calling a river push with a ton of hands ("lol, I puts him on AK, call!") so I don't want to check and get a check behind from AT.

Yeah, c/fold to a large shove is probably good but I'm losing too much value not shoving the river when he calls w/ Qx or JJ or AT.

goofy,

What level is that at?

What's your total winrate for NL?

[/ QUOTE ]

That graph is 2/4 and a little 1/2 (I actually think I'm down in the 1/2 there); my winrate this year is 6.1ptbb, but it's a bit better in my "main" games (10.4ptbb in 17k hands @ 2/4, 8.9ptbb in 32k hands @ 1/2).
