27o:

1: Gore
2: Edge
I don't mind edge here. I actually prefer him over the Ronnie Browns and even MJD. Where was Benson at? I would have taken him over Edge
Brown & MJD were gone and the guy before me took Benson.
3: R. Wayne
Good pick
4: R. Moss
I think this is a reach. I don't like Moss unless I'm getting him late as a third guy with upside. Since you got Colston next I'm guessing someone like Driver or maybe even Javon Walker with left? I actually think this pick was a pretty big mistake
This was homer pick on the way up hoping I could get Colsten on the way down. A bad pick, agreed. I got lucky
5: M. Colson - to cover moss
Colston is a great pick here
6: Ben Roth
I think this is a reach for him. Don't let others rushing on QBs force you to make a mistake. I like his upside, but he's an 8th rounder at bestNot like it still isn't a horrible pick, but I mixed up my 6 and 7 picks. I went Norwood then Roth. Either way, I caved.
7: J. Norwood - I like this
solid pick
8: S. Moss
Great pick if this is Santana. I think he'll outperform Randy
Yes it was Santana. I was shocked he was still around. He had at least 10 names below him yellowed out on my boards
9: M. Turner - not bad
Ok pick but I'd prefer getting a backup that is playable here. Turner is basically worthless unless LT goes down and you only have Norwood for depth
Agreed. I made a judgement call. There wasn't much out there and was happy with my RBs so I took a gamble.
In hindsight, probably should have taken someone else.
10: V. Davis
Good pick. I really like him as a top TE this year, but I'm a 49ers homer. I expect him to outperform Shockey, Winslow, and Crumpler by a fair margin
11: B. Favre
Good value here
12: GB D
I like GB, but could have possibly gotten them later, though I don't know, they went undrafted in alot of my leagues
13: N. Folk - sleeper
I'm not even sure who this is
Dallas kicker who has some good upside according to some
14: M. Nugent
15: Cincy
Wasted pick IMO. Patrick Crayton, James Jones, and Jacoby Jones are all better picks imo
Only option was a second D here. I couldn't choose anything else

Where was Lamont Jordan taken? Given your RB depth I would have targeted him at some point, probably where you picked Turner

Thanks for the breakdown. It's always appreciated.

1.5 Joe Addai (top 4 were LT, SJ, LJ and SA
Prefer Gore here personally
2.16 Brandon Jacobs (wasn't thrilled w/ this....next four were Steve Smith, Portis, Benson, Marvin Harrison).
Might have taken a WR here and got a RB in 3
3.25 Terrell Owens (over Wayne, Roy Williams and Chad Johnson)
Think I'd take CJ instead but Owens is OK
4.36 Marques Colston (over Fitzgerald and Evans)
I def. take Evans instead but the value is fine
5.45 Deuce McAllister
Nice
6.56 Laveraneus Coles
Value looks OK, gives you a good set of WRs
7.65 Darrell Jackson
What TE's and QB's were left here? The pick looks OK but I might look to another position
8.76 Vincent Jackson
I think I pick somewhere else really
9.85 Brandon Jackson
If Kitna was available I take him here
10.96 Santonio Holmes
Think we have enough WR's already, don't know what the TE/QB situation looked like by now though
11.105 Greg Jennings (you're probably noticing a common theme here....all the RBs left were [censored])
Good value pick
12.116 Jerry Porter
I'd just tie up Losman here
13.125 Michael Turner
OK
14.136 Jason Hanson
I always leave the kicker to the last myself
15.145 J.P. Losman
Great
16.156 Randy McMichael
Fine

My FBG $35,000 contest entry. Each week you automatically play your top QB, top 2 RB, top 3 WR, top TE, top R/W/T flex, top K, and top D.

Passing touchdowns are worth 6 and RBs get .5 PPR, WRS 1 PPR, and TE's get 1.5 PPR.

QB - Joey Harrington ATL (bye: 8) - $6
QB - Daunte Culpepper OAK (bye: 5) - $4
QB - David Garrard JAX (bye: 4) - $2
RB - Steven Jackson STL (bye: 9) - $60
RB - Reggie Bush NO (bye: 4) - $45
RB - Brandon Jacobs NYG (bye: 9) - $26
RB - Anthony Thomas BUF (bye: 6) - $4
WR - Laveranues Coles NYJ (bye: 10) - $25
WR - Santonio Holmes PIT (bye: 6) - $14
WR - Ronald Curry OAK (bye: 5) - $8
WR - Arnaz Battle SF (bye: 6) - $5
WR - Patrick Crayton DAL (bye: 8) - $3
WR - Dennis Northcutt JAX (bye: 4) - $1
TE - Todd Heap BAL (bye: 8) - $26
TE - Randy McMichael STL (bye: 9) - $11
PK Josh Brown SEA (bye: 8) - $2
PK John Kasay CAR (bye: 7) - $1
PK Jay Feely MIA (bye: 9) - $1
TD Minnesota Vikings MIN (bye: 5) - $3
TD Arizona Cardinals ARI (bye: 8) - $1
TD Tennessee Titans TEN (bye: 4) - $1
TD Cleveland Browns CLE (bye: 7) - $1

Not super excited about the line-up... it's hard to get a lot of quality players with only $250 to spend. I like Jackson/Bush/Jacobs and Coles/Holmes/Heap should be nice with PPR. I tried to make sure no one shared a bye week.

Anyone else submit an entry?

I have such a studly team in my $30 entry that is half females. It's on foxsports, where if you aren't online for the draft, it's drafts for you. One of the teams got RB selected for them in the first SEVEN ROUNDS. That is absolutely ridiculous. I am so glad that I called a friend and asked him to pick for me while I was on my way to AC for the weekend. I am way short at RB, but I have offered a trade to one of the two teams with more RBs than they need. My team:

McNabb
Tomlinson
Barber (bleh)
Harrison
Colston
Shockey
Walker, J (Flex)
Stover
Philadelphia

Romo
Droughns
betts
Curry
Holmes
Jones
Cooley (srsly?)

Not very deep, but if I can trade Shockey/Walker for a couple RBs, I think I can make a run for the championship.

I'd love feedback on how I did - this is only my second Fantasy Draft to participate in. We use standard ESPN scoring and start a QB, RB, Flex(RB or WR), WR, WR, TE, D/ST, K.

1.2 Steven Jackson Stl RB
2.23 Ronnie Brown Mia RB
3.26 Marc Bulger Stl QB
4.47 Lee Evans Buf WR
5.50 Anquan Boldin Ari WR
6.71 Todd Heap Bal TE
7.74 DeAngelo Williams Car RB
8.95 D.J. Hackett Sea WR
9.98 Chargers D/ST
10.119 Brett Favre GB QB
11.122 Matt Jones Jax WR
12.143 Muhsin Muhammad Chi WR
13.146 Daniel Graham Den TE
14.167 Giants D/ST
15.170 Matt Stover Bal K
16.191 Michael Turner SD RB

I think I may have misstepped on my 3rd round pick with Bulger. Everyone was hopping on QB's and I may have fallen into that trap. Some stud WR's were still out there like T. Holt, L. Fitzgerald, and Reggie Wayne. QB's that had been picked up were Manning, Brees, Palmer, McNabb, and Brady. Bulger may have also been a bad pick b/c I've got Steven Jackson. I'm not sure really.

I agree. Bulger was way too early. Everybody else looks solid. I love the Turner pick. God forbid LT goes down, but if he does, Turner could come up big. I'd keep him tucked away.

Oh, I don't like drafting back up defenses, generally. I like having one defense, and then when it comes time for the bye, you should have an idea of which of your backups you can drop with no repercussions and pick a D based on matchups.

Definite reach here. I only take a QB here if Palmer or Brees fall to me, which is pretty unlikely. Wayne would have been really good here and given you a very nice set of WRs
4.47 Lee Evans Buf WR
5.50 Anquan Boldin Ari WR
Good pickups
6.71 Todd Heap Bal TE
7.74 DeAngelo Williams Car RB
8.95 D.J. Hackett Sea WR
None of these really do much for me. I would have looked for Santonio Holmes somewhere around the 8-9 round
9.98 Chargers D/ST
Too early imo
10.119 Brett Favre GB QB
Pretty good pickup here. I don't mind him as your #1 guy coupled with another guy like Rivers, just kind of reinforces the Bulger reach
11.122 Matt Jones Jax WR
Don't see him doing much. Who else was available? I'd rather look for guys with upside than someone like Matt Jones
12.143 Muhsin Muhammad Chi WR
13.146 Daniel Graham Den TE
14.167 Giants D/ST
Don't like teh backup tight end of defense
15.170 Matt Stover Bal K
16.191 Michael Turner SD RB
Great snag here

You don't have to start a RB and the best you could do was Marshawn Lynch?
