Given what we now know after the night actions, this list would be suspicious even if my bandwagon had quietly faded

away and I'd never had to claim anything. Anyway, things went quiet and I assumed that, just like all his previous

posts on me, it wouldn't amount to anything.
Just after twenty minutes to night, Eskimo posts for the millionth time that his vote is locked, then immediately

votes for me. At this point I still saw no merit in taking any action. Then at 9.44 bulletproof and eskimo both post

advocating a me lynch.

Although I was pretty dubious about Chuck's claim, at this point clearly I have to take some action both to stall the

me bandwagon and in case he is actually not lying, but I'm still not crazy about coming out as the Angel. so i seek

clarification on the rules of his role.

now, since im dead if hes telling the truth, no matter what happens, it makes sense to post such reads as i have,

which I do. i also included a clue that villagers will hopefully pick up on, but which evils might miss on a casual

chuck now goes a little rabid, and i feel the beginnings of panic. finally at 9.57 i explictly roleclaim, begin to

post without thinking and as such notice a [censored] appear in several posts. now to my mind chuck positively

incriminates himself by continuing to push for me. eskimo switches off me on the dot of 10 - i think i had four votes

at this point, and his vote ensured i didnt face a tiebreaker, so that might give him non-evil points.

i see as i write this im catching a little heat for protecting myself rather than anyone else. all i can say to that

is that it was my impression that this is basic angel strategy in the absence of a confirmed seer or at least a strong

seer read. and also after first i came out as the angel, and then we lost the nurse, it became a clearer decision

still. i really dont see any viable alternative.

to summarise in an admittedly biased manner - on the one side you have Chuck, who posts erratically, tells provable

lies and attempts to get the angel lynched, and on the other you have me, halo ill fitting on my head but present

nevertheless, whose actions during the last hour, such as the increasingly obvious clues i gave, are consistent with

the story im telling now.
