After reading all this I have one thought. You have a rare opportunity here; you have people offering to coach and review hand histories, a free membership to a great site and a lot of people interested which has to be a great motivation.

If you choose to not study and not even watch the videos, then interest is going to die out. I know my interest in this saga dropped significantly when it became apparent that you're not studying.

I dedicate no less than 2 hours a day to study. I watch a video every single day and I review every single one of my big hands after each session. Unless you are some sort of poker savant, you'll have to do the same if you want to succeed.

You have a good opportunity here, don't waste it.

BTW, I'm also a Wichita guy.

[/ QUOTE ]In between sets, I come in this formun to find all the mistakes I made during that set. We have already plugged one leak in my game and possibly another in my heads up play. At this time, I don't have access to the videos. I have sent one tournament to someone for a review, but its difficult to know which hand histories to send.

I started reading this when it was an oddity, and came back to find I had to catch up on 23 additional pages (50 per page) of tomfoolery and skullduggery.

If wickss can make money playing this way, it makes me feel pretty good about my long term prospects as a recreational player.

I also want to throw in that I agree with the many who have posted that it would be a terrible waste if he doesn't begin to IMMEDIATELY utilize the tools he's been given. My resources have been diverted to other interests the last two years, and I have nearly zero excess cash on hand, which means that I cannot presently afford something like a SNGIcons membership. I would *kill* to have access to something like that right now, as I work on my transition from limit cash to sngs. TAKE ADVANTAGE!! There are tons of people on this forum who are far better players and would die for what's being given to you - it would be a tragedy to see it wasted.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't have access to it yet.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good to know - if this had been illuminated earlier, we probably would've avoided all of these "wtf study already" posts

When is Wickss playing STTs again? I'm trying to make a recording of my play and need him to be in one to get more people to watch.

He moved up. [ QUOTE ]

a 50-buyin downswing at the $3.40 level? this is not a good sign.

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

He still shouldn't be having 25 buyin drops at the 6.50s.

[/ QUOTE ]
I was 6% at the 16s for 5K SnGs, and now I'm down 78 buy-ins at the 6.50s since January 1, over 1234 SnGs, -6.40%. It happens.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think we decided you had leaks, didnt we?

[/ QUOTE ]I'd say leaks are a big understatement

Whoa a lot of angst here all of a sudden. I think we may be starting to take ourselves too seriously. It's not too late to grow a Tom Selleck stache and save thread/career.

Edit: Wickss you should contimue to take this seriously, everyone else should lighten up.

Hey Kevin, are you gonna make a video like those in the small stakes master sticky? I'll watch it for sure! I always pay attention to your posts on here. Seems like you have a real good understanding of sngs.

As an amateur, I don't feel comfortable critiquing an established pro, but isn't this an obvious call from the BB?

Raise >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>> fold >>>>> call

I think I understand why raising is better than calling and folding but why is calling worse than folding? It costs only $30 more in a $960 pot.
