If San Diego loses this game and tomorrow, and Mets and Phillies end up playing a one-game playoff against each other, how does the wildcard play out?

Dear Phil Fans,

This year has been somewhat not very fun being a Mets fan, but some reason I feel like tomorrow will be lots of fun either way. Congratulations on a successful season no matter what happens tomorrow. Good luck against the Nats, and enjoy what only two groups of fans can enjoy Sunday.

Well first...SD has to pitch Peavy tomorrow on short rest (great news for Phils if we do win division)

Also, if Phillies and Mets win tomorrow and San Diego loses...then the Phils and Mets play monday with the loser playing San Diego Tuesday for WC.

So gooooo Brewers tomorrow....Also, go DBacks to eliminate Rockies

I feel like that is good news for both Mets and Phils. I don't know what Peavy's career stats on short rest are but I always feel like short rest kills pitchers.

I now feel a bond with you silly Phillies fans, for some reason, and I think my favorite scenario now is us both getting in, knocking San Diego out.

LOL Wynton,

I was just talking to a couple of my buddies here at school and they just said the same thing to me(both phils fans). I kind of wouldn't mind seeing an NLCS match up between Phils and Mets, I'm sure Phils wouldn't mind it seeing how the last 9 have gone between the two.
