nirvana are great and i wish they got played on the radio around here. also their best work never made it to radio, download 'son of a gun' or 'polly' sometime.
song that drives me crazy currently is aj and aly, potential breakup song. i don't know where it came from, but now it's all i ever hear. and it is terrible. and they're not even good looking |

Tons of the new singer-songwriters that are out are terrible. That song "nothing left to lose" tilts me like crazy.

[ QUOTE ] Beastie Boys really annoy me too. [/ QUOTE ] Okay, I'm genuinely curious: when did you start listening to music? [/ QUOTE ] I started listening to music in probably 1994. I didn't develop intense hatred for some of America's most popular bands until later in life. In fact I think the very first mp3 I ever downloaded was the Beastie Boys song intergalactic back in 1998 or 1999. Even tho I hate on a lot of popular bands, I think I generally have one of the most diverse music tastes of anyone I know. For example I regularly listen to classic rock, rock, indie rock, hip-hop, rap, trance, house, jazz and sometimes classical. I also can appreciate them all for what they are. Part of why I might hate certain bands is that I very rarely ever listen to the actual lyrics and instead turn the vocals into an instrument of their own. So if the sound of the vocals disagree with my musical tastes, I generally hate the band. |

[/ QUOTE ] wow kipin sounds like we have about the way of listening to music - i never did get music recommendations from you, i'll have to do that. i'll know the lyrics to a song but i'd usually be at a loss to explain/care what they mean. |
