I traded Wes Welker for Philip Rivers in a 2WR non flex non PPR league

in a non ppr league you win that I'd say, pretty handily

I agree that Jackson and White at this point aren't really depth, but Housh is a huge upgrade. I wouldn't worry about his knee. He's done this before, and will miss practice time during the week but will suit up and produce on Sundays

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I didn't necessarily mean he shouldn't do it. Like I said, it's a math problem. If Housh/White is better than Welker/Ahman, then go for it.

12 teams, 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 2 flex, 1 te Standard Scoring.

Trade offered to me was
I give up: Andre Johnson, Heath Miller, Derrick Ward
Recieve: Jeremy Shockey, Reggie Brown, Garrard.

My qb's: Eli Manning, Losman, T. Jackson
rb: Addai, Edge, Lynch, Ronnie Brown, J. Norwood, D. Ward
wr: Andre Johnson, Hines Ward, Cotchery, Burleson
te: Heath Miller

My qb situation is dire, and this is the only stopgap I can get without giving up one of my 4 rb's. I don't have a lot of depth at wr, and like Andre a lot, do I have to take it?

I wouldn't give up Andre, but that's me. You do need a QB though. See if you can offer Ward.

I hate it. Survive at qb for now. Eli may not be out for long, and I think you can ride it out. Andre is too much of a stud, Miller is going to have a fine season.

Thats what I was thinking, I face two weak teams the next two weeks. What if he swapped Colsten for Reggie Brown?

Thoughts on trade offer

Travis Henry, Roy Williams, Bernard Berian for LT and Jericho Cotchery?

My team sucks...its LT,Steve Smith, Dree Brees and then a bunch of scrubs...cothery,kevin curtis, sean mcdonald etc

So my starting team would be
Brees
Travis Henry
Ahman Green or Deshan foster
Steve Smith
Roy Williams
Bernard Barrian
Kevin Curtis
Vernon Davis(have been offered Deshaun foster and Davis for Antonio Gates)

I just flat out don't see the point of the deal. You get Shockey, but if you're fear is losing eli, then shockey won't be good either. He needs someone to throw the ball...
So Miller ends up being better. You get Ward who may only play a month. And you get Garrard who really is probably on par for a similar season as Losman. Eli can play in pain. Just give it a week. You still end up swapping Andre for Colston which = gay.

Wait, someone offered you Gates for Foster and Davis??? If so I take this and keep LDT. I don't really like the other trade much, if you are giving up LDT you can certainly rape some noob

Reject. You're pretty much downgrading at every position. Wait out Eli's injury, Garrard will not be much/if at all better than Losman. Jackson should be a decent start against Detroit this week
