Near the end of Jurassic Park everyone is running away from dinosaurs and Sam Neil turns to the park owner and says,"I have decided not to endorse your park." Ugh!

Also the cab ride in Pulp Fiction is awful.
The director's cut deleted scenes has the original version which is over twice as long. Talk about painful.

Cocktail:
Tom Cruise meets Elisabeth Shue on the beach, where Shue's friend has alcohol poisoning.

"Champagne - perfume going in, sewage coming out."

That line infuriates me every time I watch this movie.

And anyone who doesn't think Cocktail is a great film can piss off.

i like american psycho a lot, see many aspects from the movie in my live etc, what i hated though is the scene where patrick bateman is chasing the hooker in his appartment with a chainsaw and drop in on her and kill her. its just so out of touch with the rest of the movie

[/ QUOTE ]
You mean like when he shoots the cop cars with a 9mm and they explode like they were hit with a bazooka?

[/ QUOTE ]

Both of these scenes were supposed to be over the top. IIRC, the chainsaw scene is when the movie begins to seriously point to the possibility that everything he was doing didn't really happen.

Pulp Fiction is the best movie that has _two_ of these, anything with Tarantino and anything with Willis' girlfriend.

[/ QUOTE ]

Am I the only person that enjoys Tarantino in Pulp Fiction? I love that scene.

"Did you see a sign outside for dead [censored] storage?"

Edit: After reading the rest of the thread, apparently I'm not alone. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Tarantino.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it's actually the opposite. That scene is pretty much considered a classic, regardless of QT's horrible acting.

Here's one, from Godfather II:

Oh wait--there aren't any. Never mind.

Yeah there is, and it's a big one. When Roth's men try to kill Frank Pentangeli in the bar, and one of them says "Michael Corleone says hello" or whatever the line was. This line makes no sense in the movie, and was cited as one of the big flaws in the movie by (some big movie critic, can't remember who it was now)

How about the intro scene for Gonzo & his chicken bitch in The Muppet Movie (1979):

This movie was a classic, and Gonzo's "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday" ruled the soundtrack. Unfortunately, his character was bland and contributed little from what I remember...

How do you know that?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've heard it before in several places as well. I think IMDB might have something to that extent in the trivia section on that page.

The original script calls for Portman's character to be 16 i think, but Portman auditioned and blew everyone away so they rewrote it and put her in.

I'm so glad other people agree with me that Fight Club is completely reliant on the twist and pretty [censored] all around. Whenever I say it sucks in the company of friends they flip out on me.

I think it's the presentation of the movie that makes people like it so much.

Don't get me wrong, it has some "cool" dialog and some of the anarchist ideas are interesting, but everyone loves to quote the dialog and generally thinks the movie is badass and manly or whatever.
