Also, Thailand seems like a weird place. I always feel like whenever I wanted something, I could just give someone $100 and I'd have a lifetime supply of whatever it is I just bought.

Are you saying that going 75mph uses more gas per mile than going 55mpg? I don't see how that can be true. Are you just assuming it's true? I mean obv it uses more gas per hour, but that's not relevant to saving money at all.

Yeh, cars are more efficient at certain speeds. When they quote you the MPG amounts, it's from the car running at 55 (or whatever) on a test track. Probably downhill.

My dad does it too. But, in the age old premise that you do whatever your parents don't, I drive at 90mph everywhere and so we use the same amount of petrol between us as two regular people.
