Hey all.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll probably be making a few posts in this forum now. I've been a lurker for a long time, but my game is crap and I need to improve. I've played about 25k hands at Stars .50/1 and 1/2 6max. I'll let everyone know right now that I'm way too weak/passive postflop, so don't be afraid to correct every post I make. So far - 10k hands at .50/1. Running at 5.61 BB/100.
15k at 1/2. Running at -2.90 BB/100.

I'm really hoping this is just variance, I'm definitely running terrible at 1/2. But does anyone else notice a significant change in play between the two limits? Maybe I need to change a few things.

Meant to show my opponent had KJ of clubs in my above hand...

Just a random bit of insightful strategic thought to make this post worthwhile:

UTG raises with a solid TAGs range, BB calls with any two.
Flop is 567. Imagine BB donk bets any hand he has and will showdown any pair or better.

If your UTG and just assume a spewy player is in the BB, but didnt realize he was donking any 2, how owned will you be by this strategy?

I have you at 176 hands of 1/2.

You're right -- you're way too passive after the flop. In fact, you have a higher aggression factor on the turn and river than you do on the flop (1.5/2.0/2.5). Seems like you only put money in after the flop when you're dead sure you have the best hand.

You also aren't showing down enough. I have you at 26% SD. I think "optimal" is somewhere around 35-40%.

Everything else i have on you for the limited sample size is nearly standard and normal. Step up your flop aggression.

Thanks for the reply. That's pretty much what I was thinking myself. My numbers are 2.12/1.71/1.34 after 15k hands, and WTSD is 32.

Now just to figure out when to apply this...
