One of the more overlooked reasons not to slowplay. You might miss a lot of action from another player who is also slowplaying.

How does it feel to be a hater? Are you happy?

I slowplayed the turn because I felt villain was drawing to one flush card (that's what his check-calling indicated). So hopefully he rivered the second best hand. I was pretty surprised to get this action though.

Dude, this is a horrible misunderstanding of how people play flush draws. If one or more of them have a flush draw, they will HAPPILY pay one bet on the turn drawing dead, AND THEN give you action on the river. Additionally, they won't give you any action on the river if they miss. Why take their money zero times or sometimes once, when you can take their money at least once and sometimes twice?

This makes my head hurt something awful!

If they are on a flush draw then why do you not want to bet? If they are indeed drawing, bet so that you can get their monies drawing dead. After that, pray it hits so you can take more. If they did have a flsh draw and the river came what it did, you make money no where!
