Plus the added bonus of an older lady about to sit to my left, seeing me roll over my 53s for the win saying "are we playing our little cards today?"

I have played at a table a bunch w/ some guy that's only strategy in poker was playing little cards, he would literally muck AK to a single raise.

Big Gamble Hand:
Upon hearing that 42s is Big Gamble, I vowed to play it if it was dealt to me. I got it once: at the Wynn 15. Folded to a tight lady who raised in MP. I had BG (hartz) in the CO and decided to slowplay by cold-calling and trapping the field. SB calls, BB calls. Flop comes 654 with 2 hartz! I love Big Gamble! Checked to lady who bets, I raise, SB cold-calls, lady calls. Turn Jh. GIN! Checked to me, I bet, SB calls, lady calls. River 3c. SB donks, I raise, SB 3-bets. I choke and cry and call, he rolls the K8 of hartz! Big Gamble got there and I still lost! Why? Because I didn't 3-bet it PF! Lesson, folks: always 3-bet your monsters PF. Suited Little Hammer hand: DaveR is sweating me at Bellagio 15. UTG raises, folded to me with 72s and I muck. DaveR shakes his head disgustedly. I say "I'm playing seriously today and UTG is a rock." "That's why you play suited hammer!" he replies, correctly. So the very next hand it's folded to me in the HJ with 73s. I show DaveR and say, "but THIS hand..." and I pop it. CO calls, button calls, SB calls, BB calls. Sweet, juice the pot. Flop comes Q53r. Nuts. Checked to me, I bet, 3 callers. Turn is 9. Checked to me, I bet, 1 caller. River is 6. I bet, caller folds, I win without showdown. |

Lol to quote Dmark that's why you never play low suited connectors, always gotta play them offsuit, low flushes get u into trouble! 56o > 56s. |

1/2 Commerce last night, folds to me in HJ and I raise TT, fishy young guy calls on the button, both blinds call.
Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check to me, I bet, button raises, both blinds somehow coldcall here, I am perplexed but this flop is so boring that I decide to just 3bet now and hope it turns out happy, all call. Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Check to me I bet, all call River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check to me, I bet, button now decides to raise, both blinds fold, I pick up my cards to muck but then remember that the pot is huge and that Mike L told me not to take bet/fold lines against these morons so I call. I am presented with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I am happy I paid him the $200, with the effort he put into getting there it would be rude of me not to pay. Also a slowroll I suffered 2 days ago in the 60. I raise A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG, moron horrible woman who thinks she has a clue 3bets, fold to me and I call. Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I c/r/4bet she calls. Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet, she raises ande if she has Queens she can [censored] herself so I 3bet and she calls. River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet she calls, I table my hand, she sees it, taps the table, then looks at my hand for about 5 more seconds to confirm it is the same as it has been the whole time before she now realizes that Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] are the cards she contains in her hand and that those two specific cards overpower my mere 1 pair. Here's a third one I saw in the 60: Spazz raises UTG, fold to SB who 3bets, UTG 4bets, SB 5bets, UTG 6bets, SB calls. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB check/call Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB c/c River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] check/check, SB says two pair, UTG slams JJ face up on the table cursing about how bad he runs. SB then turns up 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

I had a classic hour long period at Bellagio. Long version of the story is this middle aged Iranian called me cheap based on a tip I gave one of the food runners. She'd call 2-4 outers to the river, and was the kind of player who would gladly rake in the chips when she put a sick beat on someone. But the moment anyone outdrew her, she'd lose her mind.
We don't like each other at this point, and I can hear her talking about me to the people beside her. I get A4o on the button and attempt to steal her big blind. Sb folds, she calls. I flop the A and bet, she folds. As I'm raking in the chips, I say "I have lots of tip money now with your 30$ here...". She freaks out, starts going nuts on me. 3-4 hands go by, and I tell the guy beside me "watch me put her on sick tilt". While she's still mouthing off, I look her right in the eyes, and point to her 6 stacks (each prolly 150$). And I say: "I'm taking all your chips. I'm taking that pile, and that pile, those 2, and those other ones also. Baby I'm taking aaaaaall your money" She goes on some of the most insane tilt I've ever seen in limit hold'm. Since she's on my left, she's calling 2-3-4 cold without even looking at her cards. I took 550$ off her in under 45 minutes. It was gold. |

1. Misread hand
2. Misread position 3. ??? 4. Profit I have A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in the BB. A few limpers and I check. Two clubs on the flop, plus some miracle back-back-door wheel draw. I bet and get a few callers then a late-position raiser. I 3bet, everyone calls. Turn is the 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Cool, I got there. As my chips hit the table I see that it's the 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] out, which means when I recheck my hole cards... yep, I have A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Everyone calls. A fourth [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] hits the river, I bet and get called by the flop raiser who loses with the king-high flush. I'm playing 15-30 at Hustler, which has a 2-chip / 3-chip structure that I'm not used to. I'm mesmerized by hot chick who is swiping player's cards. The dealer bounces something off my head to get my attention and I see that there has been an UTG limper, then everyone folded around to me with JTo on the button. I think about raising because UTG is playing somewhere around 90/2/.0001, but BB is a Gamble Gamble Armenian guy who will 3-bet just because, so I call... Then the button calls. The button was kind of in no-man's-land between me and the guy to my left, but he has the button. To make matters worse, The Armenian guy isn't BB, he's SB. He posted with a bunch of $1 and $3 chips, which sure looked like enough for the BB (I'm used to a 1/3 structure). That means the guy I though was UTG is actually BB. So I just open-limped JTo in the CO. Fantastic. Flop comes Jxx. passive BB who will never ever fold bets, and I raise. Armenian guy, who has been check-3betting bottom pair regularly folds. Queen hits turn and (Edit: BB) check-calls. K hits river and I check behind. MHIG |

gotta write this off, never in my life have I had a worse night at the limit table, never ever ever have I tilted this hard
I can't even remember the last time I was on tilt in a live game, I'm always respectful towards fish who rape me, but tonight I literally exploded and uttered some profanities I can't repeat it was like, I raise kings get it hu against aj who rivers a flush, raise kings get called by A3o who flops his A, get AQ, flop the A but some donk hits 2 pair with A6o, flop top pair and 2ndnut flush draw with KJs, raise for a free showdown on the turn, miss and villain obviously has KQ, turn trips, get rivered by a gut shot, miss my flush, miss my straight, miss everything, and on and on and on last hand that pushed me over the edge was nice too: the game got 6-handed due to some walkers, I raise KhJh in the HJ, CO donk cold calls, bb calls flop: Kd Qh 10c I bet, donk CO calls, turn: 9h I bet, donk calls, river: 4h I bet, donk raises, I take him to 3-town, he puts me on a bus to 4-ville, I puke, utter some profanities and call, he shows Ah3h and I lose it, I tell him exactly what a fn idiot he is, how much he sucks at pkr and a lot of other things I can't even remember, I leave the table, cash in my chips and leave the casino before I start throwing punches at random people never in my life have I flipped out like that, I just couldn't take any of this isht any more, not after losing for 3 months straight I might never play limit again in my life, although I'll probably sit in again tomorrow somebody get me sklansky's number, I'm due for some fn sklansky bucks |
