You know, if we ever had any good defenders USA could pwn pretty hard now and then.

Adu, Jozy, Szetela, Bradley, even Zizzo has looked promising despite still being in college.

In what world are we living?

Donovan has a great Gold Cup.
Adu is having a great U20WC.

Watched the whole match.
Really awesome stuff.
Feeling a tad more patriotic than usual watching USA pull off the upset.

I think Zizzo looks like a total stud. I had never seen him play before this tournament. He looks great taking defenders on, winning balls in the midfield, and his passing has been spot on.

From a skill stand point it looked like our forwards/midfielders were every bit as good as Brazil.................... I can not believe I just typed that!

It was an exciting game to watch. Adu and Altidore looked world class together. Of course this is not the real world cup but dare to dream. However the others were right there as well. Zizzo was impressive and rogers has a pretty damn good leg, he had a great shot from outside the box and set up some chances in the 1st half. Wow encouraging signs for the future.

Very encouraging. That's what I was thinking as well.
Who knows what could be in store for U.S. soccer in future WC's but the possibilities seem very promising.

I was so glad that ESPN came to their senses and decided to air this game.

All-around great performance from the U.S. The defensive midfield did a great job linking up with Adu and the other offensive midfielders and strikers.

The only issue I have (and it's only somewhat worth bringing up due to the relation to the senior USMNT) is the ability of the opponents to get successful diagonal throughballs starting in the 65-70 mins range. The defense looked great, but I'm really hoping we can shape things up in the back over the next few years.
