Let's talk about hair for a second. What do guys think of multi-colored streaks anyway? Thumbs down?

This is from one of those fashion do's and don'ts magazines -

alrighty...focus on the hair, men.

I put it a step above black roots on a blonde, but it seems like it doesn't make the hair nearly as pretty as it could be if just one color was settled on and the hair looked good.

Also, it looks too faddish, and doesn't look like it would do well in a professional environment either. All in all, it has something of the cheap about it, and overly showy without really improving anything.

I sort of agree with you that it looks a little faddish. A couple of years ago I liked it because I thought it looked kind of "young"

Now I think it might be played out. I still see it a lot on the country club wives who shop at my grocery store.

At least she kept the colors sort of close. Sometimes it's done where the colors are farther apart or one has tints in it(say like red, for example) that the other doesn't have, so it doesn't blend in well, and then it just looks kind of shabby to me.

Yeah but I love that glamorous abductee vibe. Makes me want to go out and buy all new straw for my basement.

Very funny. But answer the question Sniper. Do you like the multi-colored hair streaks or do you not?

Yes Dear...

First, I was being serious.

I like hair streaks when the hair is styled well.

In that pic, are some of those streaks clipped in?

i'm not a big fan of hair streaks mainly because i prefer dark hair and it seems like lots of people like blonde/light brown streaks

I think it can look okay but it can vary so much on the person and what they do and their age.
I also think it really only works for those with light hair.
