i looked over most of the thread. this is what i like.
Polo shorts, solid color polo shirts. sperry's, rainbows, or reefs. this stuff never really goes out of style as much as the other trendier stuff might, but i'm from the south/midwest, so i am probably in the minority and/or completely wrong.

A couple of my friends wear them religiously during the summer and they look hideous. They seem to never quite be the appropriate footwear regardless of the situation. They come off too cheap/hippy/hiker/sloppy looking for me. I feel like they would only look right if you were like in a canoe or something. -sidenote they also leave the most bizarre tan lines on your feet if you are outside in the sun for an extended time.. just my two cents

How are they better than Tevas, really? It's not like you could wear them anywhere remotely nice, unlike some other fashionable sandals.

[/ QUOTE ] no. just because the model is wearing a shirt with the collar up does mean you must wear it the same way. i was leaning towards the type of clothes they are and not how they are worn. moreover, i was aiming for the point that if you like polo shorts or polo shirts, this is a site that offers you more options.

[/ QUOTE ] yes, a huge douche. fortunately, if you buy something off the site it does not require you to wear it like the model. jcrew, Polo, banana republic, and other reputable clothing manufacturers have models that are just as bad. jesus christ, take the clothes for what they are and not how the models are wearing them.
