I'll be surprised if they sweep with GS's stellar home record

Thompson is really enamored with his "How excited are the benches=winning" theory. Also he seems to have decided that this game counts as a moral victory for the Wizards around the first quarter, they ended up losing by freaking 15.

Warriors/Mavs thoughts...

I've been a Warrior fance since I was a kid growing up in the bay area in the 80's.

It's a little exciting for them to be playing a meaningful game in late April for the first time since 1994.

As you know, the Warriors have played great against Dallas the past two seasons, and were 3-0 against them this year.

They obviously match up well against the Mavericks.

Diopp (spelling) and Dampier will have a tough time running up & down the floor keeping up with the Warriors pace, forcing Johnson to go with a smaller line-up.

I think the Warriors could push the Mavericks to a 7th game. I don't think this will be a typical 4-1 series that you often see with the #1 going against the #8.

Jason Richardson always steps up huge against the Mavs, and B. Davis has been on fire lately, even throwing down a triple double recently.

Either way, should be a very entertaining first round series. Not to mention the whole, teacher vs. pupil thing with Nelson vs. Johnson.

**Series wild card for the G.S.W is Matt Barnes.
He's had a great year for someone who was essentially an NBA castoff.

Farmar is 1000x better than Smush. Is he back in the D-league yet?

I'm rooting for the Lakers because 2+2 has made me HATE Steve Nash

Why is that? 99% of the time I read & post in poker threads only.

I never thought I'd be rooting for the Lakers in a playoff series, but here I am cheering them on.
