if some hollywood producer suddenly offered you the chance to write the sequel to Rounders, would you take it?

assuming you do, how would you have it end?

and what would happen in the last hand of poker in the movie, i guess the climax. i mean, the big hand of poker in the new Bond movie had me rollin my eyes cause it was stupid, what kind of sick hand would you put in this movie?

[/ QUOTE ]

in a SECOND. you know how many black chicks i'd be able to bang if i wrote that?

it would end like this, with this hand and a sweet cigar:

This isn't just for KRANTZ, I'd like feedback from anyone.

I read your brief post on table selection... and I agree that it is very important. However, I don't know how to choose tables to best suit me.

What kinda player texture do you look for? I'm guessing it greatly depends on your playing style. What is there to look for if you're a LAG? what about TAG?

Do you need tons of stats mined in order to make an accurate judgement? Or can you tell merely from stacksize, avg players/flop, and average potsize? do you observe a table for a few hands before sitting?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

KRANTZ,

Rather than seeking out to table select as well as you possibly can, isn't it easier just to be the single best player at whatever site+limit you are playing?

when i try to pick tables, i'm really not looking at stats or average pot sizes. i'm just trying to find the ones with players i've never seen before, people who are only playing 1 or 2 tables, or people with fishy looking screennames. i suspect that stats like avg pot size (the higher the better) and players to the flop (the more the better) could be pretty useful in table selecting at lower limits, where the player pool is a lot bigger.

I am not Krantz, but I have read here before (and experience bears this out) that there is an inverse correlation between the skill level a name suggests and the actual skill level. E.g. IAmCrzyDonkey is almost certainly a TAG and PokerProChris is a huge fish. Agree/disagree K-man?
