Street was not available. It was just a bad luck game for the A's. I put a curse on Duchsererer when I bragged about how he is such great pitcher in this thread.

Sheesh, talk about a lucky azz win. But it's April and the A's will take anything they can get in the early part of the season. Swisher and Chavez are monsters so far this so that's nice. Also good to see Blanton turn in a strong performance.

On the A's fan blog there is speculation that Dan Johnson was on the juice last year. They say his bat is too slow through the zone this year. Eric Chavez gained 25 pounds of muscle in the off season and is off to his hottest start ever. But they aren't suspicious of him Chavez being on the 'roids. FWIW, I don't think either are/were juicing but that's just because I'm a fan.

Only part of the game I heard was Mench's grand salami. Nice to see the boys overcome. Especially nice was the contributions from Johnson, Crosby and Payton. Those guys have been struggling.

I'm glad no one booked my action on Loaiza, he is awful. then again, its only april, and last I heard, the WS isnt until october. I think between him and Harden, we can rule out trading zito.

This guy is worse than horrible. Are they gonna keep him in the rotation? I've got to feel any random AA pitcher would be a better choice. I have watched his last 2 starts and he can't throw strikes and if he does it's got no velocity or movement. As a bettor I have been fading him strongly and for that reason I hope he keeps starting.

Just wonder if there is any local news saying that he's gonna be out of rotation?
