I emailed full tilt approx 11 hours ago after getting the email stating there was nothing they could do for me. The email was short and to the point...(and btw, it has not been replied to yet either)
Dear Full Tilt, I have several questions including why it took 36 hours for this response to come out. If this were handledly in a timely manner maybe this hacker would not have gotten away with these funds. Also, I would like to speak directly on the phone with a higher up at full tilt. Having $25,000+ being stolen from me does not go over well with me. Jared |

I never play on FullTilt either for this reason. I refuse to play on a site that doesnt have any customer support. At least Party, whose support sucked, you could contact almost instantly via phone and get something like this sorted out immediately. Of course it doesnt really matter if you play there or not in this particular circumstance. Is accepting one of these file transfers like this the only real way that something like this can happen to you? [/ QUOTE ] If you don't know much about this stuff, just never take a link or accept any file from anyone you don't trust. Don't use an email program that automatically does things, like open other programs or junk like that. Even if something comes from someone you know, don't open it unless you know they sent it on purpose. Other than that, keep your virus and spyware software updated. Never send your passwords anywhere unencrypted - every website that deals with money and asks for a password should be https, not http. Don't use the same password for insecure places like 2p2 and for secure places. |

Small Update:
I spoke with Neteller on the phone. They have told me a few things that are relevant. One, the IP is coming from NY on someone who tried to log in to my account. 2. He transferred money to Norbicbet. (I've never heard of Norbicbet) He didnt have my password but did have my ID and secure ID and didnt need my password to withdraw the funds. They also said that they are aware that my account has been hacked and they will get back to me in another 48 hours as they are doing their investigation. -Jared |

Sorry to hear about this
Being NordicBet is probably good news though. They have phone support which opens in 8 hours (+372 6 282 355) and they care about their reputation. Also they do not permit buddy transfers and payout routines are slowish (+24h normally) so all hope may not be gone. Best of luck |

Full Tilt has emailed me twice this afternoon.
2 emails just received from Full Tilt : Hello again Jared, Thank you for your email to Full Tilt Poker. We experienced some technical issues the night your first email was sent regarding this matter. As a result there were some delays in response times to many of our emails. I do apologize for this delay and assure you that we have taken the necessary action to prevent this from happening again. When your email, along with LucLongley's email was brought to my attention that there was a false deal made, we took immediate action and expedited the investigation to ensure it was handled in the fastest time possible. Unfortunately, we could not recover the funds. I understand that you would like to speak with with us over the phone, but at this time we can only provide you with email support. Phone support is unavailable. I know there is little we can offer to comfort for having these funds stolen, but we have been working in collaboration with Neteller to prevent these scammers from being able to launder funds through their processor. If you have any further questions, please let us know. Regards, Larry Cashier Security Manager Full Tilt Poker Support Hello again Jared, As I have previously stated, we cannot provide you with phone support at this time. I can tell you that about $6800 was lost in table play through a variety of games including Sit and Gos and cash games. We have reviewed all table play and found that there was no chip dumping to any of the players that won. Please also be advised that in order to protect the privacy of our players, I am afraid I cannot release the names of the players that won the money from Eddiefelsonn. I apologize if I seem like I am being uncooperative, but please to understand that we have taken effort possible to recover your stolen funds and that our security team is continuing to work with Neteller to prevent the scammers from being able to launder such stolen funds in the future. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Regards, Larry Cashier Security Manager Full Tilt Poker Support ----- IF $6800 was lost in table play, where is the $18,200???? This site is a complete and utter joke, and anyone who plays on their site should seriously reconsider. I'm going to email them back asking where the other $18,200 which is in my mind unaccounted for |
