K so i'm fuming from another session of shortstacking PLO 400. Isnt the point of shortstacking that your stack is so small compared to the others that they will call even when waaaaaay behind in a hand just because its only a few extra bucks?
Well I must've missed the part where it says THAT I ALWAYS GET OUTDRAWN! So congrats you PLO 400 players on stars, you have one less shortstacker to worry about. Seriously tho, are there people out there doing this and making a decent profit? I mean i've had 2 -1k days now while playing with just 80 bucks at a time, this doesnt seem normal. This variance just sucks balls PLO 100 fullstack here I come

I still haven't managed to read Slotboom's book even though I've had it for a month and a half. Is it really advocating buying in for the min? Neither Beset nor I are ever comfortable playing that short and usually buy-in for at least 40% when taking shots.

I've only read the first couple chapters myself but from what I can make out he talks about buying in for $100 on a $100 table but its one of those tables where you can buy in to cover the biggest stack, so not really the absolute minimum.
Also I wasnt really taking a shot, just shortstacking a bigger game because of the supposed advantages that come from doing it. I'm yet to realise these advantages tho
