It lets the wolf plan his night kills too perfectly...I don't see a reason in discussing tomorrow's kills, when we have AMPLE time to talk tomorrow...I've never ha too little time to make a decision.
There is also "too much" talking time, where villagers tend to turn around and second-guess themselves and the obvious clues, and allow themselves to be mind-[censored] by wolves. Kill the wolf, move on

After much discussion and cute puppy and kitten pictures the village came to the a terribly difficult decision. Amplify is no more.
