To echo a bunch of others...
Buck, Vitale, and Walton are all terrible. I'm an Eagles fan, and it kills me to have to listen to Buck for almost every game of the season. I really doubt that he knows a thing about sports. At least he's paired with Aikman, who elevates the broadcast to bearable.

I mean, I can't do it, but the numbers look impressive because they would be high for a pitcher, but the infielders don't have to worry as much about control and aren't restricted to legal pitching motions.

[/ QUOTE ] Sorry for the tanget, but was anyone else puking after the Brett Favre love on New Years Eve against my beloved Bear, especially the segment where they had shown the speed of the pass clocked at 61mph. I've never seen the radar gun used during an NFL broadcast and thought this was the most over the top Favre fellating I had seen to date, but it seems that people love playing the one up game on this topic.

[/ QUOTE ] WTF Do you really think pitchers could throw 105-110 if they didn't worry about control or 'legal pitching motions' ? I think the infielder probably gets a slight boost because he's allowed a running start/crow hop, but there are very few people who can throw that hard under any circumstances... and the ones who throw in the high 90s almost always become pitchers.
