I think the "not being wasteful" component of this is very cool, but all the anti-capitalist stuff (found in the wiki entry) is just retarded.

Humans need incentive to get [censored] done. Take it away and you'll get even more hunger, oppression and misery than there is now.

Not that capitalism should be unregulated, mind you.

/end politics

I am not against capitalism, I am aaginst the companies being super wasteful in many aspects. They pollute, mistreat workers, run over 3rd world countries and leave them devistated, sell us crappy products, and advertise way too much such that it almost alters how we behave.

I am against waste.
I am against oppression.

Buying non-vegan veggie burgers may be against a vegans morals, but eating them out of the trash may not be.

How many non-vegan veggie burgers would a freegan vegan dumpster dive if a freegan vegan could VEGAN VEGAN!

Vegan, this isn't an issue of my understanding what you're saying. It's an issue of me thinking you're either misinformed or wrong.

Its super hypocritical for vegans to pass up a normal burger and then go buy a vegan burger. Im glad you actually see that. We make fun of you cuase its really funny and easy but I think most people here respect you for actually acting on yuor beliefs.

Meh. I wouldn't respect someone who refused to go on an around-the-world cruise because he believed the world is flat and was thus "actually acting on [his] beliefs."

veganmav's beliefs aren't that idiotic, of course, but they're in the next neighborhood over.
