We've all said things that we didn't mean when we were SUPER MAD before. I remember at 16 yelling at my mom and telling her I didn't love her anymore...didn't mean that. I remember at 18 getting so mad at someone I said I was going to kill them, didn't mean that. I mean come on guys, he lost his cool and said something he shouldn't have. Everyone is only whining like a baby like this because he's white and it's vs. a black person, if it was the other way around, OR if he wasn't famous, wouldn't be that big of a deal at all. [/ QUOTE ] dude... did you even listen to what he said |

Big difference between Danson and Richards, IMO. Danson's blackface incident was a bit he did for a Friars Club roast. FC roasts are famous for pushing the bounds of good taste, and in retrospect it just looks like really awful judgement on his part. Of course it was stupid and inappropriate and racially insensitive, but given the context, that one incident isn't strong evidence that Ted Danson is a racist.
Richards on the other hand, got pissed off and launched into an angry tirade. It's the spontaneity of Richard's comments and the obvious contempt he had for the heckler that are so disturbing. Here we have a veteran performer and comedian whose *instinct* is to repeatedly scream [censored] at a heckler. That, IMO, is strong evidence of racism. I don't think the public will be very forgiving. |

Quite humorous [ QUOTE ] I don't think the public will be very forgiving. [/ QUOTE ] Like it matters? His sole source of income is Seinfeld royalties and they'll keep rolling in regardless. |

when i first heard this i thought he was 3rd levelling them and nobody picked up on it. it's still a possibility; and the public anger and anal retentiveness made him apologize.
is he really this stupid? ive said more racist stuff in a comedic context. then we had a beer. then we did whatever else. in conclusion, no 3rd level? |

[ QUOTE ] beat: ras kass [/ QUOTE ] is that serious? who the [censored] doesnt like ras kass? [/ QUOTE ] Dope rapper, and in his prime, one of hip-hop's premier lyricists. But an (admitted) prominent racist in his own right, so not exactly the source we should look to to solve racial tensions. |
