I kept Vince Young last year without getting much from him, and drafted him last year for the keeper aspect. He is nowhere on your list. I also drafted Chris Henry this year in the 18th round in the hopes that when he comes back from suspension he puts up some good numbers and may be worth keeping for a 17th round pick next year.

Ya, I missed him (I think it was the only omission), but it exactly proves my point. Guys like him are more the exception than the rule, and even him I remember it was not such a long shot to start at the beginning of the 2006 season (I drafted him on other non-keeper league) . So, all this talk about making a sacrifice picking them on the late rounds, just does not apply like for 95%? of the keepers.

I'm not 100% sure what you guys are arguing about

but in a keeper league there is a HUGE difference between a 15 or 16 or 17 round pick and a 9 or 10 round pick.
